ABOUT THE DEVELOPER

RBJ Schlegel Holdings Inc. is a private holding company owned and operated by the Schlegel family. This mid-sized company is based in Kitchener, Ontario, with operations all across Canada, and provides employment for over 4,000 people either directly or through their subsidiary companies.

RBJ Schlegel Holdings Inc. and their subsidiary companies are actively involved in health care, research, urban development and agri-business industries. All health care investments are held through it's wholly-owned subsidiary, Schlegel Health Care.
 
Strength and stability are the hallmarks for the Schlegel name. RBJ has been involved in developing lands in southwest Kitchener since the mid 1980s with the development of master planned Williamsburg Town Centre, but their roots in land development go back to the early 1960s. Currently, RBJ have developed or are developing over 5,000 residential housing units. 

Schlegel Urban Developments is a mid-sized Kitchener based real estate development company, with it's roots in land development as far back as the early 1960s.  This presence expanded significantly with the development of the village concept of design of the Master Planned Williamsburg Community in Kitchener in the mid 1980s; and continues to grow with several master planned projects in various stages of development in the City of Kitchener and north of London, Ontario.  

An award winning company, Schlegel Urban Developments is recognized for it's master planned residential subdivision projects and commercial developments, the most prominent being the mixed use Williamsburg Town Centre in the City of Kitchener. Our development group is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life where people live, work and play; and is comprised of creative professionals who create excellence in all our developments, providing innovative elements of design to create spaces that are unique, functional, appropriate and appealing.  

Schlegel Urban Development is a main division of RBJ Schlegel Holdings Inc., a mid-sized Kitchener based holding company entirely owned and operated by the Ronald Schlegel family. The company was founded in 1967 by Ron Schlegel, and later joined by sons, Rob, Brad and James. The Schlegels all hold upper level management positions and all are actively involved in the various divisions of the company, incorporating and expanding each division with projected and sustainable growth.  The award-winning company of RBJ is well known for providing excellence, quality and attention to detail in every area, not only in the parent company, but also in each of it's subsequent divisions.

RBJ Schlegel are actively involved in Retirement Communities and Long Term Care Homes (Schlegel Villages) providing a continuum of care for seniors, Internationally recognized Mental Health and Additions Research and Treatment Facility (Homewood Health Centre), Nationwide EFAP and disability programs (Homewood Human Solutions), Research in Aging and practicum (Schlegel-UW Research in Aging -RIA), Urban developments (Schlegel Urban Developments) and Agribusiness (Ernald Enterprises).
